Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of room attendants, assistants, and cleaning staff assigned to sections, ensuring strict compliance with luxury hospitality standards
• Inspect rooms at all stages (check-out, stayover, VIP, and villas), verifying adherence to quality and presentation benchmarks
• Conduct systematic inspection rounds of public areas, hallways, service corridors, and back-of-house zones under responsibility
• Ensure proper utilization of materials, chemicals, and equipment whilst promoting safe and efficient operational practices
• Report maintenance issues promptly through PMS platforms such as HotSOS, Alice, and Opera systems
• Verify accurate replenishment of amenities, linens, minibars, floral arrangements, and personalized welcome details
• Oversee final room presentation prior to guest arrival, ensuring compliance with temperature, lighting, fragrance, and sanitation standards
• Attend personally to VIP requests and special requirements, including pillow menus, bespoke turndown service, and customized décor
• Follow up expeditiously on guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping, ensuring prompt resolution
• Maintain absolute discretion, professionalism, and empathy during all guest interactions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on housekeeping experience within luxury hotel properties
• Technical or higher education in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related disciplines
• Advanced proficiency with PMS systems, particularly Opera, as well as Workday platform
• Demonstrated expertise in cleaning delicate surfaces, textile care, marble preservation, and luxury amenity management
• Competence in aromatherapy principles and luxury hospitality sensory standards
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance concepts and hotel engineering standards
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and operational software (HotSOS, ALICE)
• Fluency in Spanish and intermediate-to-advanced English language proficiency

Skills

Experience

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in housekeeping operations within luxury hospitality environments, with demonstrated ability to lead teams, maintain exacting cleanliness standards, and deliver service excellence consistent with ultra-luxury brand positioning.

Education

Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Administration, or related field.
