Aman Nai Lert Bangkok seeks a General Cashier & Paymaster. Manage cash operations and payroll for Thailand's first luxury urban Aman hotel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage hotel cash float maintenance and perform daily cash counts before end of shift
- Open the cash drop safe with witness verification, count deposits, and reconcile cashier closing reports to PMS/POS systems
- Ensure cashier work accuracy by reviewing shift closings, identifying discrepancies, and reporting variances to the Finance team
- Prepare daily bank deposits and journal voucher entries (GCR reports)
- Maintain all financial files with strict organization and security protocols
- Conduct monthly audits of hotel cashier banks with the Income Auditor and reconcile against House Bank Contract
- Collect, verify, and maintain current payroll data including timesheets, overtime, deductions, and additional income
- Input and process payroll data accurately and timely for all employees
- Reconcile commission arrangements between employees and the hotel, distributing amounts via payroll
- Maintain balance sheet analysis for payroll clearing and related liability accounts
- Prepare all monthly payroll journal entries and biweekly payroll variance reports
- Ensure all local, provincial, and national taxes are deposited and reports filed on schedule
- Uphold confidentiality and security in all payroll matters
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Financial Controller, Director of Finance, or General Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- Minimum 3–4 years of cashiering experience in a hotel or luxury hospitality setting
- Proficiency with hotel finance and accounting systems; exposure to accounting software is highly valued
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions and reporting
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive financial information
- Proficiency in cash handling, reconciliation, and audit procedures

Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in cashiering operations within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cash management, bank deposit preparation, and familiarity with hotel accounting systems and payroll workflows.
Education
