Role & Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually for each shift and conduct all services within the designated time allocations
- Educate guests comprehensively on fitness and wellness concerns specific to their requirements
- Maintain all fitness equipment to the highest standards of care and functionality
- Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of all services, treatments, and wellness products offered by the property
- Prepare fitness and wellness facilities and ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection protocols are consistently observed
- Communicate directly with management regarding any occurrences—staff or guest-related—requiring attention or escalation
- Actively promote spa services, treatments, retail offerings, and available programs, promotions, and discounts
- Address all guest questions and concerns with professionalism, courtesy, and prompt responsiveness
- Conduct daily fitness programs and classes as scheduled by management
- Maintain immaculate personal grooming standards, including clean and properly fitted uniforms
- Demonstrate ability to work independently without direct supervision while remaining accessible to leadership
- Foster a positive workplace culture and maintain exemplary conduct contributing to an outstanding work environment
- Attend and actively participate in all training sessions, staff meetings, and daily briefings
- Assist in all areas of spa and wellness operations as directed by supervisors
- Report any damage, maintenance issues, or facility concerns to supervisory staff immediately
- Participate in continuous training to refine, upgrade, and expand professional skills
Qualifications
- Proven fitness instruction and wellness expertise
- Strong knowledge of fitness programs, exercises, and health and safety protocols
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional demeanor and commitment to luxury hospitality standards
Skills
Experience
Experience in a fitness, wellness, or hospitality environment is preferred. Prior experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end wellness facility is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Recognized fitness certification (such as ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent) is preferred.
