Role & Responsibilities

  • Follow established receiving procedures and ensure timely delivery of direct issue items to the kitchen and other departments
  • Inspect and verify all incoming goods meet purchase order specifications for quantity and quality
  • Properly document all goods received or rejected in compliance with internal control systems
  • Update daily receiving transactions in the system and maintain accurate records of all inventory movements
  • File and organize all receiving documentation according to hotel procedures
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and overinvestment
  • Track incoming purchases and departmental requisitions, updating inventory records accordingly
  • Organize and clearly number all storeroom items to facilitate efficient stock level management
  • Develop knowledge of storeroom products to accurately determine inventory levels and identify discrepancies
  • Maintain storeroom areas in clean and hygienic condition at all times
  • Ensure all store item issuances are supported by authorized departmental requisition forms

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar receiving or storeroom position
  • Verbal and written proficiency in both Japanese and English
  • Comprehensive knowledge of receiving and storeroom operations
