Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee entire spa and wellness operations and administration, ensuring alignment with hotel policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures Manual
- Develop and manage annual spa budgets; conduct financial analysis and oversee fiscal performance
- Establish financial operating assumptions, business models, staffing plans, and cost control initiatives
- Optimise profitability whilst maintaining excellence in product and service delivery across all spa facilities
- Handle guest complaints and satisfaction recovery with timely follow-up and resolution
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate procurement of goods and office supplies
- Recruit, develop, train, and oversee all spa department personnel; supervise staff scheduling and special programming
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures; conduct monthly departmental communication meetings
- Greet and meet with a designated number of arriving and departing guests daily, particularly Aman Club Tokyo members and repeat clientele
- Organise and prepare personalised guest celebrations, including birthday and anniversary acknowledgements via cards, letters, emails, and gifts
- Enforce all safety and emergency procedures; ensure staff understanding of and compliance with hotel safety policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Spa Manager in the hospitality industry
- Fluency in English and Japanese with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven team leadership and people management capabilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
