Design Coordinator at Aman Group in Miami—support ultra-luxury hospitality design projects across the Americas. Reporting to Director of Design & Technical Services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, architects, designers, and multidisciplinary consultants to advise on and implement brand-required design direction across hospitality projects and programs
- Review design consultant-submitted drawings and specifications for compliance with brand standards
- Attend project coordination workshops and work with design and engineering consultant teams to develop approved project design through to working drawing stage
- Develop and track project schedules to ensure timely delivery of design phases
- Support tracking and follow-up of design and construction action items identified during and after site visits
- Coordinate design requirements, deliverables, and documentation exchanges with internal team members, corporate stakeholders, and external project teams
- Produce meeting minutes, presentations, and technical reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, architecture, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architecture designer, interior designer, design coordinator, or in a comparable role
- Familiarity with hotel, residential, and project delivery methodologies; design background with hotel operator experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam Revu (desirable)
- Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to work independently
- Existing permission to live and work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
