Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate design activities across internal teams and external consultants
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
- Develop and monitor project and design program schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with team members, corporate teams, and external project teams to manage information flows and data exchange
- Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports
- Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawing logs, review comments, and approval records
- Track project and Aman Standards schedules, lists, and briefs
- Review and track consultant submissions, including drawings, reports, and material boards
- Participate in project coordination meetings and provide design and technical services guidance
- Manage Technical Service Team Smartsheet project management tool, updating schedules and tracking design documentation
- Participate in site meetings and support on-site coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design or architecture
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an architect, interior designer, design coordinator, or related role
- Familiarity with luxury hotel, residences, and resort project delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Existing permission to live and work in the UAE with documented evidence of eligibility
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an architect, interior designer, design coordinator, or in a related design and technical services role. Experience with luxury hotel, residences, and resort project delivery is essential. Background with a luxury hotel operator in a Design & Technical Services capacity is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in design or architecture is required.
