Role & Responsibilities
- Assist guests with restaurant reservations, theater tickets, limousine arrangements, and other personalized services
- Provide accurate directions and curated local recommendations for attractions and dining
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly via desk, phone, text, or email
- Handle guest confirmations, packages, flowers, and mail with timely professionalism
- Maintain accurate and high-quality guest profile databases with preference documentation
- Document all guest interactions to enable seamless personalized service
- Deliver quality and genuine service with prompt, efficient, and courteous responses to guests and team members
- Serve as an ambassador of Aman New York values, embodying the pillars of genuine care and hospitality
- Execute all concierge functions to create an ideal Aman New York experience
- Act as liaison between the concierge desk and other hotel departments
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience as a hotel concierge at a luxury property
- Current membership in the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges
- Membership in Les Clefs d'Or USA (preferred)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate guest communication
- Comprehensive knowledge of Manhattan attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive guest service orientation
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods during daily operations
Skills
Experience
At least two years of professional experience working as a concierge in a luxury hotel environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in hospitality or luxury service is advantageous.
