Aman Tokyo seeks a Cluster Assistant IT Manager to support the Cluster IT Manager in overseeing information technology systems across the hotel property. This role involves coordinating IT projects, maintaining corporate IT standards, managing system security and inventory, and ensuring optimal capacity and efficiency of all technology resources to support operational excellence in an ultra-luxury hospitality environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with operational departments to streamline processes through strategic technology implementation
- Assist in coordinating IT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress communication
- Maintain and regularly update IT inventory and licensing documentation
- Review system security protocols and manage periodic password and security reinforcement procedures
- Conduct regular system checks including user logs, system logs, and quarterly network and infrastructure health assessments
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants on the procurement of hardware, software, and IT services
Qualifications
- Verbal and written proficiency in Japanese and English
- Information Systems and network knowledge or formal qualifications
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality management systems
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT-related industry roles
- Ability to implement IT procedures and ensure strict compliance
- Capability to work extended hours and maintain 24-hour on-call availability as required
