Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain ongoing maintenance operations for all hotel systems, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, air and heating units, ice machines, swimming pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, and electrical substations
- Perform and oversee painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and related maintenance activities throughout the property
- Support departmental safety trainers in implementing comprehensive training plans and oversee emergency response team preparation
- Anticipate and plan for various emergency situations, conduct regular safety system tests, and coordinate evacuation drills, bomb threat drills, and other emergency preparedness exercises
- Respond to emergency situations as appropriate and coordinate with relevant departments
- Support implementation and monitoring of food and beverage hygiene controls and policies
- Ensure adequate CCTV coverage and security monitoring of all critical areas within the property
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory-level experience in Engineering or Security operations within the hospitality industry
- Fluency in English and Japanese with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
