Aman seeks a Bar Manager for The Sunset Terrace at Amanpuri in Phuket to lead daily bar operations, service quality, beverage development, team performance, and financial results. The role requires luxury hotel bar management experience, strong mixology and beverage knowledge, and fluency in English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of The Sunset Terrace Bar, ensuring seamless service, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Aman brand standards.
- Oversee beverage preparation, presentation, and service while maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Develop innovative cocktail menus, seasonal beverages, and curated wine and spirits selections.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate bar team members to strengthen product knowledge, service skills, and teamwork.
- Personalize guest experiences, anticipate preferences, recommend beverages, and resolve feedback promptly and professionally.
- Manage beverage inventory, stock control, and purchasing to maintain product availability and cost efficiency.
- Prepare budgets, sales forecasts, and profit and loss analyses; monitor performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager in a luxury hotel, with strong knowledge of mixology, wines, and premium spirits.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Ability to manage budgets, beverage inventory, and cost control effectively.
- Passion for exceptional, personalized guest service and strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays; additional languages are an advantage.
