Role & Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global retail operations strategy to maximise sales, margin and customer lifetime value across all markets.
- Own retail P&L performance, KPIs and monthly/quarterly reporting; translate commercial targets into operational priorities.
- Standardise and enforce operating procedures, service protocols and brand presentation to ensure a consistent luxury client experience.
- Oversee store network performance, including territory-level productivity, staffing models, workforce planning and incentive schemes.
- Drive omnichannel operational integration—inventory flow, fulfilment, click & collect, returns and in-store pickup processes.
- Manage store openings, relocations and refurbishments in partnership with real estate, visual merchandising and construction teams.
- Lead retail transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives (process design, cost control and loss prevention).
- Recruit, develop and coach senior retail leaders and regional operations teams; embed a high-performance culture and talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with merchandising, CRM, e‑commerce and marketing to align assortments, clienteling and in-store campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, health & safety and brand governance requirements across global retail operations.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership record in luxury or premium retail with responsibility for multi-country store networks.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience managing retail P&L and delivering topline and margin improvement.
- Track record of implementing operational standards and driving large-scale change across retail organisations.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects involving merchandising, CRM, e-commerce and real estate.
- Willingness to travel internationally and to operate across multiple time zones; strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Minimum 10 years in retail leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing regional or global retail operations within the luxury or premium segment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
