Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain a cohesive learning strategy for Alaia boutiques covering onboarding, product knowledge, brand heritage, selling skills and clienteling.
  • Develop and deliver classroom workshops, in-store coaching, e-learning modules and training materials adapted for multi-market roll-out.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and partner with retail leadership and HR to prioritise development initiatives aligned with commercial goals.
  • Coach store managers and senior sales staff on leadership, performance management and behavioural selling techniques.
  • Measure training effectiveness through KPIs (conversion, average transaction value, client retention) and produce regular impact reports.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards and customer experience by integrating visual merchandising and product launch briefings into training curricula.
  • Manage relationships with external training partners and vendors; oversee training budgets and scheduling across regions.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record (typically 3–7 years) in retail learning & development within luxury fashion or high-end retail environments.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering multi-format training (classroom, in-store coaching, e-learning) to frontline sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with familiarity of retail KPIs and clienteling methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation, coaching and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence at store and regional levels.
  • Fluency in creating training content in English; additional language skills are an advantage (not explicitly required).
