Alaïa is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Miami Design District boutique. Reporting to the Boutique Director, the role leads store operations, inventory and stockroom management, logistics, compliance, and team development while supporting a seamless client experience. This is a full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Motivate and empower teamwork as a member of the store leadership team, fostering collaboration within and between stores and with business partners.
- Lead by example and foster a client-centric environment, serving as a role model for current and future leaders.
- Participate in morning briefings and contribute to the store’s overall objectives as an integrated member of the team.
- Uphold inventory management standards, maintain stock accuracy, and promote an organized, efficient work environment.
- Keep product and packaging stock in excellent condition and ensure stockrooms are organized logically and efficiently.
- Prioritize stockroom safety and maintain a professional, compliant environment for employees and vendors.
- Optimize stockroom and sales-floor preshow and understock space so merchandise is accessible and the client experience remains seamless.
- Check the quality and conformity of all delivered products.
- Oversee store logistics, including central-warehouse deliveries, domestic and international stock transfers, and stock issued for consignments, trunk shows, photo shoots, and other commercial activities.
- Manage delivery operations, preparing and replenishing stock quickly and accurately.
- Coordinate returns, shop-to-shop transfers, and other logistical activities within required deadlines.
- Improve product availability by liaising with the supply chain and managing product requests to meet client needs.
- Ensure client repairs and refurbishment are completed on schedule to support customer service.
- Manage store supply orders and contribute to store operating expenses.
- Monitor store maintenance and manage stationery, uniforms, and kitchen supplies.
- Follow internal audit guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the right products are available on the sales floor to improve store efficiency and maximize the client experience.
- Develop and maintain the highest standards of brand and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in retail sales and operations.
- At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Experience ideally in the luxury retail sector, with a strong affinity for luxury products.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and follow-through competencies.
- Strong organizational, task-management, and logistics skills.
- Competent computer skills, including SAP, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 20 lb.

Experience
At least 5 years of experience in retail sales and operations, including at least 2 years of management or supervisory experience; luxury retail experience is ideal.
