Role & Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end product development for the footwear line, from concept to production sign-off.
- Translate design direction into detailed tech packs, material specifications, lasts and construction notes for suppliers.
- Coordinate sampling cycles, organise and attend fit sessions and record iterative fit and construction feedback.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and internal production teams to track lead times, costs and quality standards.
- Contribute to costing, bill of materials (BOM) preparation and margin analysis for assigned styles.
- Maintain the product calendar, monitor sample status and ensure timely deliveries aligned to the seasonal collection timetable.
- Liaise with merchandising, sourcing and sales teams to ensure commercial viability and on-time assortment launches.
- Ensure compliance with brand quality standards and approve pre-production samples in collaboration with senior product staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in fashion design, product development, footwear engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of shoe construction, lasts, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Strong organisational ability with experience managing multiple concurrent samples and tight delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination with design, sourcing and production teams.
- Analytical aptitude for basic costing and margin calculations.

Typically 1–3 years of hands-on experience in footwear development or junior product management within fashion or luxury footwear. Experience working with suppliers and attending fit sessions is expected.
Education
