Alaïa in Paris seeks an Event Manager (CDD) to lead brand and client events, coordinating production, budgets and VIP hospitality.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan, produce and deliver brand events across Paris and key markets — from private appointments and press previews to client activations and product launches.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue sourcing, technical production, AV, set design, catering, security and on-site operations.
  • Own event budgets: prepare estimates, negotiate supplier contracts, track spend and produce post-event financial reconciliations and reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (PR, communications, retail, showrooms, creative and external agencies) to align event objectives, creative direction and timelines.
  • Develop guest lists, manage invitations and RSVP processes in collaboration with clienteling and PR teams; oversee VIP and press hospitality standards.
  • Create detailed run-sheets, floor plans and risk assessments; supervise rehearsals and on-the-day execution to ensure high standards and brand consistency.
  • Produce post-event evaluations with KPIs and learnings to optimise processes, supplier panels and future activations.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in event management within luxury fashion, luxury goods or high-end experiential agencies.
  • Strong vendor and supplier negotiation skills with demonstrable experience managing external production teams and technical crews.
  • Excellent organisational ability with a methodical approach to planning complex, multi-stakeholder events under tight deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with VIPs, press and high-profile clientele.
  • Fluency in project documentation and financial tracking (budgeting, invoicing, reconciliations).

Experience
