Alaia — Paris: CSR Assistant Internship. Support sustainability reporting, supplier assessments and ESG projects for the Parisian luxury house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the CSR team in the preparation and consolidation of sustainability reporting and internal dashboards.
  • Collect, validate and analyse quantitative and qualitative sustainability data from internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Assist with supplier assessments and follow up on corrective actions related to social and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct benchmarking, regulatory monitoring and desk research on sustainability standards, frameworks and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and roll-out of internal awareness campaigns and training materials on CSR topics.
  • Support project coordination for ESG initiatives (timelines, follow-up, stakeholder communications).
  • Prepare presentation materials, summaries and executive reports for the CSR team and senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ad hoc tasks such as event logistics, meeting preparation and file/document management.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical rigour with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare concise reports and presentations.
  • Autonomy, discretion and sensitivity to high-end luxury brand culture.

Experience

Previous internship experience or practical coursework in CSR, sustainability, ESG or related functions—preferably within fashion, retail or consumer goods. Demonstrable exposure to data collection, reporting or supplier engagement is an advantage.

Education

Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Management, or a related field.
