Alaïa, Paris: 6-month internship as Assistant Collection Merchandiser for Accessories supporting luxury fashion strategy and showroom operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct competitive analysis on accessories products, offerings, pricing, currencies, and market communication
- Update PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and merchandising tracking tools to maintain collection oversight
- Perform weekly sell-out analyses and ad-hoc performance reviews as required
- Complete sell-in analyses at the conclusion of showroom periods
- Generate ad-hoc analyses during brief preparation stages
- Contribute to the development of wholesale purchasing platforms
- Draft showroom briefing materials and guidelines
- Monitor showroom sales performance and editorial selections
- Distribute sales communications and updates to wholesale partners
- Assist in the creation and delivery of retail training support materials
Qualifications
- Understanding of luxury fashion merchandising and collection strategy
- Familiarity with PLM systems and merchandising analytics tools
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
Skills
Experience
Emerging professional with academic background in fashion, merchandising, or business-related disciplines; practical experience or internship exposure in luxury retail, merchandising, or fashion operations is advantageous.
Education
Graduate-level qualification (Master's degree or equivalent) in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline; or current enrollment in a relevant program with graduation expected during the internship period.
