Alaïa seeks Assistant Boutique Manager for Monaco boutique opening. Lead retail team, drive sales performance, and deliver luxury client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Co-monitor the achievement of boutique sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement business action plans to boost performance in collaboration with the Boutique Manager
  • Prepare regular reporting on sales, traffic, KPIs, missed sales opportunities, stock issues, and customer service metrics, proposing corrective actions
  • Support the Boutique Manager in recruitment, training, and management of the team to optimize personal and boutique performance
  • Delegate operational activities and establish clear responsibilities within the team
  • Communicate and motivate the team around the Maison's strategy, vision, and collective and individual contributions
  • Support the Boutique Manager in conducting team meetings and ensuring awareness of targets and client experience best practices
  • Assist with the annual performance management process to provide constructive feedback
  • Foster a business-oriented approach and positive, supportive team environment
  • Ensure full compliance with Maison policies, procedures, and brand standards, maintaining a flawless boutique environment
  • Supervise the boutique back office and administration, including invoicing, scheduling, and payroll
  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and seamless execution of all processes
  • Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with the brand image
  • Guarantee boutique maintenance and upkeep in accordance with the Maison's standards
  • Promote clienteling behaviors and best practices within the team, including proactive client outreach and personalized styling
  • Elevate the in-store and out-of-store client experience in line with Maison standards and guidelines
  • Define client retention, recruitment, and reactivation objectives with headquarters and the Boutique Manager
  • Leverage clienteling tools and CRM applications to drive results and client development
  • Analyze and report on the return on investment of clienteling and CRM actions, identifying improvement opportunities
  • Develop local partnerships with personal shoppers, stylists, and key luxury market actors
  • Stay informed about competitors' activities and trends in the luxury fashion market to provide actionable insights
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and participate in local events to strengthen the boutique's presence
  • Align local strategies with the Maison's overall goals to ensure consistency and sustainable growth

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury retail with a strong track record in sales, operational excellence, and team management
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  • Operations-focused management expertise with strong proficiency in boutique operations oversight, process optimization, and operational efficiency
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop and execute long-term visions
  • Solid understanding of the luxury fashion market and client behavior in international contexts
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
