Alaïa seeks Assistant Boutique Director for Paris flagship. Lead retail operations, sales performance, and team management in this luxury fashion role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Co-monitor the achievement of boutique sales targets and key performance indicators
- Identify growth opportunities and implement business action plans to drive performance and revenue
- Collaborate with the Boutique Director on quarterly action plans to achieve expected results and sustainable growth
- Prepare regular reporting on sales, traffic, KPIs, missed sales opportunities, stock issues, and customer satisfaction, proposing corrective actions
- Support the Boutique Director in recruitment, training, and performance management of the team
- Delegate operational activities and establish clear responsibilities within the team structure
- Communicate the maison's strategy and vision to staff, ensuring alignment with collective and individual objectives
- Conduct and participate in team meetings to ensure awareness of targets and client experience best practices
- Supervise boutique back-office administration, including invoicing, scheduling, and payroll
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all processes
- Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand image
- Guarantee boutique maintenance and upkeep according to maison standards
- Promote clienteling behaviors and personalized styling practices within the team
- Elevate in-store and out-of-store client experiences in line with maison guidelines
- Define client retention, recruitment, and reactivation objectives with headquarters and the Boutique Director
- Leverage clienteling tools and CRM applications to drive client development results
- Analyze and report on the ROI of clienteling and CRM actions to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop local partnerships with personal shoppers, stylists, and key actors to attract high-quality luxury clientele
- Stay informed about competitor activities and luxury fashion market trends to provide actionable insights
- Participate in local events and develop strategic partnerships to strengthen the boutique's market presence
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail with a strong track record in sales and operational excellence
- Proven team management and leadership experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated expertise in boutique operations, process optimization, and operational efficiency
- Strategic thinking capability with excellent analytical and business planning skills
- Solid understanding of luxury fashion market dynamics and international client behavior
- Fluent in English
- Experience with clienteling and CRM systems
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and retail brand standards

Experience
Minimum 5 years in luxury retail management with demonstrated excellence in sales performance, operational oversight, and team leadership. Proven experience building and motivating high-performing teams in flagship or key accounts, managing P&L responsibilities, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive boutique growth. Background in luxury fashion, accessories, or haute couture brands is essential.
Education
