Alaïa is recruiting an Accessories Materials Development and Industrialization Assistant intern in Paris, starting in late February or early March 2027. The intern will support sourcing, development and industrialization of footwear and leather-goods materials, collection tracking, archiving, color development, shipments and a leftovers-tracking process.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the manager with sourcing, development and industrialization of materials for footwear and leather goods.
- Update physical and digital tools for tracking collection materials, development and industrialization.
- Monitor, organize and maintain a meticulous archive of research for the Studio.
- Assist with building the color card and tracking color developments.
- Support the manager with daily tasks, including preparing and tracking shipments.
- Establish a process for tracking leftovers.
Qualifications
- Bac+5 degree in leather, chemistry, materials or engineering.
- Fluent English is essential; Italian is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong rigor, precision and attention to detail.
- Product sensitivity.
- Excellent communication skills, team spirit, autonomy and dynamism.
