The Accessories Collection Merchandising Assistant supports Alaïa’s Accessories Merchandising Director in shaping the collection offer and positioning, analyzing performance, and coordinating showroom activity and Retail training materials. This six-month internship is scheduled to begin in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to presenting a coherent product offer in terms of collection structure and price and market positioning.
- Support the Accessories Merchandising Director in organizing showrooms and product shoots.
- Contribute to Accessories Merchandising strategy through competitor research covering products, assortments, prices, currencies and communications.
- Update PLM and collection-tracking merchandising tools.
- Analyze accessories performance through weekly and ad hoc sell-out analyses, end-of-showroom sell-in analyses, and ad hoc analyses during brief preparation.
- Support showroom follow-up by contributing to the wholesale buying platform and showroom brief, tracking sales and editings, and distributing information notes to sales staff.
- Contribute to writing Retail training materials.
