Aesop seeks Seasonal Retail Consultants for its Sydney CBD teams at The Strand, Sydney Flagship, David Jones Elizabeth Street, and Myer Pitt Street for the festive season. These casual roles run from September to December 2026, with the possibility of ongoing employment depending on business needs; the work is on-site and requires availability for late-night and weekend trading.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and engage, listen, and guide them towards relevant products.
- Deliver thoughtful, hand-crafted one-to-one product demonstrations at the sink, inviting customers to touch, aroma-test, and explore the products.
- Tailor customer experiences to individual needs, providing exceptional, inclusive, and memorable service.
- Support store teams in meeting customer needs.
- Process sales.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure products are exceptionally presented.
Qualifications
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- No prior retail experience is necessary; experience in a customer service role or environment is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate with warmth, curiosity, and sincerity.
- Genuine interest in learning product knowledge.
- Flexible, open availability throughout October to December, with full availability required from 23 November to 24 December and on 26 December.
- Full availability across the employment period, including late-night and weekend trading hours.
