Aesop is seeking Seasonal Retail Consultants to support its Auckland City store during the 2026 festive season. These casual roles run from November to December 2026, with full availability required across the period, including late nights and weekends; ongoing employment may be available based on business needs. The role is on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the store and engage, listen and guide them to relevant products.
- Conduct thoughtful, handcrafted one-to-one product demonstrations at the sink, inviting customers to touch, aroma-test and explore products.
- Tailor customer experiences to individual needs, delivering exceptional, inclusive and memorable service.
- Support the store team in meeting customer needs.
- Process sales and maintain appropriate stock levels and presentation.
Qualifications
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- No prior retail experience is necessary; prior experience in a customer service role or environment is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate with warmth, curiosity and sincerity.
- Genuine interest in learning product knowledge.
- Flexible and open availability throughout November and December, with full availability required from 23 November to 24 December and on 26 December.
- Full availability across the seasonal period, including late-night and weekend trading hours.
