Aesop seeks a Counter Manager for its Munich store in a fixed-term, full-time role of 38.5 hours per week. The role leads and develops the team, oversees commercial performance and store operations, builds lasting customer relationships, and creates engaging in-store experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the store team through thoughtful coaching and daily inspiration to create an authentic, high-quality customer experience.
- Manage the store responsibly, pursuing sustainable commercial success and considering sales-relevant KPIs in line with the brand philosophy.
- Promote a calm, efficient daily store routine that creates space for high-quality customer interactions.
- Build and maintain long-term, trusting customer relationships through attentive in-store brand experiences.
- Plan and deliver selected initiatives and encounters that bring the brand to life and engage customers in an inspiring way.
Qualifications
- Experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to create a non-judgmental, safe and inclusive store environment.
- Substantial store management and customer service experience, with a proven sales record and a results-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, active listening to different perspectives and problem-solving ability.
- Passion for skincare; experience or interest in haircare, body care, fragrances and home fragrances is an advantage.
- Confident use of common IT applications, particularly MS Office, to manage store administration efficiently.
