Aesop is seeking a Counter Manager for David Jones Chadstone to oversee business operations and stakeholder relationships, budgeting, store-specific marketing, client-base growth and the daily activities of Retail Consultants. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role on a Tuesday–Saturday roster.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the success of the business through effective operations and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage budgeting and store-specific marketing.
- Build the store’s client base.
- Coordinate the daily activities of a team of Retail Consultants.
Qualifications
- Management experience in a customer service, retail or hospitality environment.
- A proven record of effective selling and the ability to drive commercial outcomes in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Experience successfully leading and coaching a team and creating an inclusive, psychologically safe work environment.
- Ability to use empathy to manage interpersonal relationships.
- An open mindset and deep curiosity, with the ability to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, commercial acumen and merchandising skills.
