Aesop seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Brisbane CBD store to share responsibility for business performance, operations and stakeholder relationships with the Store Manager. This full-time, on-site role follows a Sunday–Thursday roster and involves coordinating Retail Consultants, driving sales and identifying opportunities to develop the store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Share responsibility with the Store Manager for the overall success of the business through store operations and stakeholder relationships.
- Coordinate the daily activities of a team of Retail Consultants on a Sunday–Thursday roster.
- Drive sales and identify key opportunities to support and elevate the store.
Qualifications
- Management experience in a customer service, retail or hospitality environment.
- Proven selling skills and the ability to drive commercial outcomes in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Experience successfully leading and coaching a team and creating an inclusive, psychologically safe work environment.
- Ability to use empathy to manage interpersonal relationships.
- An open mindset and deep curiosity, with the ability to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, commercial acumen and merchandising skills.
