Acqua di Parma is hiring a Sales Assistant in Fidenza, Italy — full-time boutique role focused on luxury fragrance sales and client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and actively contribute to sales targets across all product categories.
  • Deliver a distinctive luxury shopping experience through proactive presence on the shop floor and personalised client interaction, aligned with brand image and CRM guidelines.
  • Apply advanced selling techniques to identify needs, present product solutions, and close sales.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, cultivating relationships with new clients and VIP clientele to grow loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Follow retail operations procedures and HQ directives, ensuring compliance with inventory, cash handling and service protocols.
  • Use and update company IT systems and CRM tools, including Salesforce CRM, to record client activity and support sales initiatives.
  • Support stock control activities and collaborate with the stock team to ensure product availability and replenishment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' retail experience; prior experience in luxury and outlet channels strongly preferred.
  • Proven customer-oriented approach with strong consultative selling and listening skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven attitude and a taste for sales challenges.
  • Passion for fragrances and brand culture; positive, team-oriented demeanour.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Availability to work full time at Fidenza Outlet Village (two positions open).

Skills

Salesforce CRM Retail merchandising Clienteling Point-of-sale (POS) systems

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the luxury sector; experience in outlet environments is a plus.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, luxury goods or fashion is an advantage.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Fidenza, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, with easy access to Parma.
