Acqua di Parma seeks a Retail & Training Manager in Dusseldorf, Germany — lead retail strategy, training and POS performance for the brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement national retail strategies with a primary focus on sales optimisation and margin enhancement.
- Continuously monitor counter sales and profitability metrics, identifying and acting on performance gaps.
- Own KPI framework: strategic planning, ongoing monitoring and structured reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure POS quality control and consistent brand presentation across counters and retail touchpoints.
- Provide line management for counter staff, including recruitment, rostering and personnel planning.
- Organise, develop and deliver employee training programmes aligned to brand standards and commercial objectives.
- Conduct continuous market surveillance and competitive analysis to inform local retail initiatives.
- Redefine and implement local training strategies and structures to effectively support Acqua di Parma sales priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum several years' experience in retail, counter or store management (ideally with P&L or store leadership exposure).
- Direct experience in designing and delivering training programmes; retail-training background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the luxury cosmetics/perfume market.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Native or business-fluent German and very good command of English.
- Willingness to travel across Germany.
- Excellent relationship-management skills, analytical mindset and a communicative, team-oriented attitude.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in retail or counter/store management; proven experience in training design and delivery is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Hospitality or a related discipline preferred.
