Acqua di Parma seeks a Counter Manager (80–100%) at Globus Bern, Switzerland. Lead fragrance sales, CRM and counter performance for a heritage luxury brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised customer service and fragrance consultations to local and international clientele at the Globus Bern counter.
  • Drive sales of the full Acqua di Parma assortment (fine fragrances, home fragrances, shaving, leather and travel collections) and ensure counter sales targets are met.
  • Develop and implement local merchandising and presentation in line with Acqua di Parma visual standards and brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage counter performance through regular analysis of KPIs and take corrective actions to optimise results.
  • Oversee inventory levels and execute effective stock management to guarantee product availability and minimise shrinkage.
  • Operate the point-of-sale/cash register system and support periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Execute customer retention activities and maintain accurate CRM records to grow client relationships.
  • Contribute to the establishment, reputation and growth of the brand within the department store environment through proactive team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in perfumery or luxury fragrance retail, ideally in a counter or department store setting.
  • Deep product knowledge of fragrances and related luxury categories.
  • Proven sales orientation with experience achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent spoken and written German; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused, service mindset.
  • Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Experience

At least 3 years of hands-on sales and client advisory experience in perfumery or the luxury beauty sector, with prior responsibility for a retail counter or boutique preferred.
