Yves Saint Laurent Merchandising Coordinator, Men's Shoes

Saint Laurent's collections span across women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Supervise the development, monitoring, and strategic analysis of Men's Shoes collections.
- Develop and present the collection plan biannually.
- Ensure the balance of the collection plan in terms of function, price, and seasonality.
- Negotiate industrial costs and define sales prices in multiple currencies while maintaining margins.
- Oversee the size of collections and establish a coherent pricing structure.
- Commit to pre-purchases and delivery groups ahead of the showroom.
- Manage essential operational tasks for showroom success and produce critical sales tools.
- Define and present the Master Order for retail.
- Create strategic and product briefs and brief all showroom participants.
- Monitor showroom purchases and gather client and regional feedback.
- Organize standardization meetings with the studio and development teams.
- Collaborate with Retail Merchandising and Merchandise Planning to monitor Men's Shoes performance.
- Interact with various departments for performance tracking, including Image, Marketing, and Legal.
- Ensure timely deliveries in collaboration with Distribution and Production.
- Validate restock requests and identify opportunities to optimize overall performance.
- Maintain assortment balance and coherence by monitoring destocking and COV offerings.
- Minimum 5-7 years of successful experience in a luxury or fashion house, specifically in footwear.
- Master's degree in Marketing/Merchandising or equivalent from a university or business school.
- Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, curiosity, responsiveness, and adaptability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Strong product sensitivity and market knowledge.
- Fluency in French and English, with Italian being highly appreciated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized tools such as Power BI and PLM.
A minimum of 5-7 years in a luxury or fashion house with a focus on footwear.
Master's degree in Marketing/Merchandising or equivalent.
