Prada Group seeks a Communications Manager in Hong Kong to lead regional PR, media relations and events for the brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional public relations strategies to maximise brand visibility and alignment with global brand direction from the Italian head office.
- Build, nurture and manage long-term relationships with fashion, lifestyle and trade media across the territory to secure editorial coverage.
- Operate and curate the showroom and manage sample logistics to optimise press access and editorial use.
- Respond to and manage all press enquiries, ensuring timely, consistent and brand-aligned messaging.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver PR events and activations, overseeing logistics, vendor management and on-site execution.
- Identify and coordinate celebrity and influencer dressing opportunities that elevate brand perception.
- Supervise photoshoots and prepare editorial reports and coverage analyses for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate fashion show invitations and related communications for press and VIP guests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven track record in fashion or luxury brand PR, preferably with in-house experience handling a major brand.
- Strong network and demonstrable media relationships within the local market and wider region.
- Excellent organisational skills with experience managing showrooms, samples and event logistics.
- Able to work across time zones and align local activity with directives from international headquarters.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in public relations or communications within the luxury fashion sector, with hands-on responsibility for media relations, events and editorial delivery. Experience working with regional briefs or reporting to a global HQ is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
