Groupe Bon Marché — Paris: Cashier (part-time) for La Grande Epicerie de Paris. 15 hrs/wk, Tue/Fri/Sat evenings.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate tills: process payments and manage all routine point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Perform cash management tasks including opening and closing tills and reconciling the cash drawer.
  • Welcome, inform and assist clients to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Bag and present purchased items in line with the maison’s quality standards.
  • Report to and collaborate with head cashiers to maintain smooth checkout operations and service continuity.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work scheduled shifts: Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 15:30–20:30.
  • First experience at tills or in retail customer-facing roles is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong client-service orientation with enthusiasm, responsiveness and a proactive attitude.
  • Good numeracy and accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
