Christian Dior Senior Garment Technician — Women’s Ready-to-Wear (Flou or Tailoring)

- Conceive and assemble exceptional women’s garments (manteaux, jupes, robes, vestes, pantalons) according to the candidate’s specialty (flou or tailleur) for Collections, prototypes and client/VIP orders.
- Carry out full garment assembly from studio drawings and patternmaker guidance, interpreting technical dossiers and toile fittings to achieve the intended silhouette and finish.
- Collaborate closely with patternmakers, stylists, cutters, atelier seconds and premiers to ensure coherence between design intent and construction.
- Execute machine sewing and hand finishing to Maison standards; perform fittings, follow adjustment rounds and complete post‑fitting retouches.
- Propose technical solutions to improve manufacturability and final quality while respecting production deadlines and collection rhythms.
- Work with a broad range of materials — textile, leather, fur — and integrate components and accessories as required.
- Identify and apply value‑adding techniques through choice of materials, construction methods and detailing.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and on‑the‑job training for apprentices, new hires and junior first‑hands.
- Vocational diploma in fashion/clothing (CAP, BEP, Bac Pro Métiers de la Mode or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in a similar function within high‑end ready‑to‑wear or couture ateliers.
- Advanced technical expertise in garment construction, with excellent dexterity and precision.
- Fluent French; good command of English is an advantage.
- Flexibility in working hours during collection periods and willingness to travel nationally or internationally for fittings/events when required.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in comparable high‑end ready‑to‑wear or couture ateliers, with demonstrable expertise in either flou or tailoring disciplines.
Vocational diploma (CAP / BEP / Bac Pro in fashion/clothing) or equivalent.
