Chanel in Geneva seeks a Finance Systems Analyst to manage ERP finance applications, integrations and system improvements for global finance operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day support and continuous improvement of finance applications and integrations across the global finance landscape (ERP, consolidation, close and treasury systems).
  • Partner with finance stakeholders (controlling, accounting, tax, FP&A, treasury) to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
  • Manage projects and system changes across the full lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, testing (unit, integration, UAT), data migration and rollout.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate fixes with internal IT, external vendors and third-party providers.
  • Design and maintain automated interfaces, data flows and reconciliations between source systems and the finance stack to ensure data integrity during month-end and close processes.
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, runbooks and test scripts; provide training and support materials for end users.
  • Contribute to governance, controls and compliance activities related to finance systems (segregation of duties, audit trails, SOX-related controls where applicable).
  • Evaluate new finance technologies, run pilot initiatives and recommend optimisations to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing, configuring or supporting finance/ERP systems in a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong analytical ability with proven experience in requirements definition, process design and system testing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work with finance and IT teams across regions.
  • Experience working with external vendors and proven ability to manage third-party deliveries and SLAs.

Experience

Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting finance systems or ERP finance modules, including participation in at least one implementation or major upgrade project in a multinational or matrixed organisation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CFA) preferred but not mandatory.
