All applicants ought to know these basics about Zenith before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Le Locle in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot, Zenith was one of the first Swiss watchmakers to unite all métiers under one roof, giving employees a long heritage of vertically integrated watchmaking.
Zenith’s most famous technical milestone is the El Primero, the high-frequency automatic chronograph launched in 1969 and still respected across the industry for its precision and complexity.
For job seekers, Zenith offers the culture of a historic manufacture within the scale of LVMH, creating potential exposure to broader luxury-group career paths alongside maisons like TAG Heuer, Hublot, and Bvlgari.
The brand has a strong innovation narrative, from chronometry prizes in the 20th century to contemporary high-beat and lightweight performance movements, which can appeal to candidates drawn to technical R&D roles.
Zenith’s modern identity balances archive-driven icons with bold collaborations and sportier product lines, so careers there often sit at the intersection of heritage storytelling, product innovation, and global marketing.
