All applicants ought to know these basics about Too Faced before applying or interviewing for any role.

Too Faced was founded in 1998 by Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson with a deliberately playful, feminine alternative to the more minimalist prestige-makeup counters of the era.
The brand became famous for sensory product storytelling, from cocoa-scented Chocolate Bar palettes to peach-themed collections that turned packaging, fragrance and shade names into part of the customer experience.
Too Faced joined Estée Lauder Companies in 2016 in a deal valued at about $1.45 billion, giving employees access to a much larger global beauty infrastructure.
Its Better Than Sex Mascara became one of prestige beauty’s best-known hero products, making the brand especially relevant for candidates interested in blockbuster product marketing.
Too Faced sits in the competitive color-cosmetics space alongside brands such as MAC and Benefit Cosmetics, but differentiates itself through humor, maximalist visuals and social-first launches.
The brand’s retail success has been closely tied to beauty specialty channels such as Sephora, so roles often blend creative brand-building with fast-moving omnichannel execution.
