All applicants ought to know these basics about Marni before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Milan in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni, Marni built its reputation on intellectual color, offbeat prints, and an art-led approach that stands apart from more overtly glamorous Italian houses like Prada Group brands or Gucci.
Marni has been part of OTB Group since 2012, giving employees exposure to a wider luxury ecosystem that also includes labels such as Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, and Diesel.
The brand is known for cultivating a highly distinctive visual language across fashion, accessories, retail, and collaborations, making it especially appealing for candidates interested in creative roles with strong cross-functional influence.
Under creative director Francesco Risso, Marni has leaned further into experimental storytelling, immersive shows, and artistic partnerships, which can make it an exciting environment for talent drawn to unconventional luxury branding.
Marni’s collections often balance craft, texture, and eccentricity over logo-driven status dressing, so careers there may suit people who prefer concept-driven design cultures to more traditional heritage-house formulas.
