All applicants ought to know these basics about Darphin before applying or interviewing for any role.

Darphin was founded in Paris in 1958 by Pierre Darphin, a physiotherapist and skincare specialist whose beauty-institute approach still shapes the brand’s emphasis on diagnosis, massage and personalized rituals.
The brand is best known for its aromatic essential-oil elixirs, making it a strong fit for candidates interested in sensorial skincare, spa heritage and botanical formulation.
Darphin joined Estée Lauder Companies in 2003, giving the Parisian niche brand access to a global prestige-beauty infrastructure.
Compared with larger sister brands such as Clinique and La Mer, Darphin has a more intimate, apothecary-style identity centered on expert consultation and high-touch service.
Its professional roots mean retail, education and training roles often require the ability to translate product science into calming, ritualized customer experiences.
