All applicants ought to know these basics about Capri Holdings before applying or interviewing for any role.

Capri Holdings is the New York–based luxury group formed from Michael Kors Holdings and renamed in 2018 to reflect a broader multi-brand ambition beyond Michael Kors.
The group’s portfolio brings together Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo, giving employees exposure to American accessible luxury and British accessories craftsmanship under one corporate umbrella.
For job seekers, Capri has historically offered the appeal of a modern, brand-building culture focused on global retail, merchandising, wholesale, and digital growth across very different luxury labels.
Its acquisition-driven expansion made it one of the few luxury groups headquartered in the U.S., creating career paths that can feel structurally different from European giants like LVMH, Kering, and Richemont.
Because Capri manages distinct houses with strong individual identities, many roles require balancing centralized corporate discipline with the creative and commercial needs of each brand.
Capri has also drawn industry attention for strategic shifts and portfolio changes, including the sale of Versace to the Prada Group in December 2025, so candidates should pay close attention to how leadership priorities may affect long-term mobility across Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo.
