Media kit

Cerulean’s press kit: everything you need to write about it, from the boilerplate to the logos.

Boilerplate

Use one of the three versions, word for word. Cerulean is a job board: it chooses the houses it lists and gathers their open roles, and candidates apply on each house’s own site.

One sentence

Cerulean is the job board for luxury professionals.

One paragraph

Cerulean is the job board for luxury professionals. It gathers the open roles of a select circle of luxury houses around the world, keeps them current throughout the day, and brings each person the roles that suit them. It covers fashion and leather goods, watches, jewelry, beauty, department stores, wines and spirits, and luxury hospitality, from the boutique floor to headquarters, and candidates apply on each house’s own site. Cerulean publishes eight sites in five languages: ceruleanjobs.com for the world, and a site for each of France, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy. Searching and applying are free. Its founder is John Philip Green.

The longer version

The paragraph, followed by:

Cerulean chooses the houses it lists for their standing rather than their size: it lists the great names even when they have few roles open, and no mass market or fast fashion. Its models choose each person’s recommendations and job alerts from their résumé, the roles they open and apply to, their stated preferences and their location; no employer sees a résumé. Each role is condensed into one standard form, in Cerulean’s words, with nothing the house did not say, and, in a country with its own Cerulean site, translated into that site’s languages; pay appears where the house states it. Developers can reach the same listings through a public search API, and AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT through an MCP server; both are free to use, with credit to Cerulean and a link to each listing. Cerulean takes its name from cerulean blue, the blue at the heart of Miranda Priestly’s monologue in The Devil Wears Prada (2006): “…that blue represents millions of dollars and countless jobs…”. Its visual identity was created with August Strategy of Montreal in 2024.

The founder

John Philip Green is the sole founder of Cerulean. His career spans two decades and three continents. He founded CareGuide, the second most-used caregiver matching service in the United States and the leading such platform in Canada, and LearnHub, which reached millions of young people, particularly in India.

His title is Founder: in a byline or a caption, “John Philip Green, founder of Cerulean”. His letter is on the Founder page.

Counts

Quote the count line on the ceruleanjobs.com homepage with its date, or round it down with “more than”, never up. On October 7, 2026, it read “21,043 open positions at 196 brands, in 2,199 cities across 73 countries”.

Credit for the listings

Wherever Cerulean’s listings are shown, credit Cerulean, “Listings from Cerulean”, linked to ceruleanjobs.com, and link each listing to its page on Cerulean. Re-query rather than republish an old snapshot: a closed listing’s page is gone after 90 days.

Logos

Cerulean’s marks — the wordmark, the monogram, and the Ellipse — are shown on the Brand page; for the files, write to luxury@ceruleanjobs.com with the subject line “Press”. The press may reproduce these marks, unaltered and from those files, to illustrate coverage of Cerulean, the wordmark wherever there is room for it. Any other use needs written permission. A mark is never redrawn, recolored, stretched, outlined, given a shadow, or locked up with another mark. The photographs and paintings on the sites are not covered: please ask.
